And, typically, the solution is - have someone make identical copies of said characters, and duel on tcp/ip or on open. Surely you aren't suggesting that we have a cadre of single player people with access to 9x+ 45 lifer pcombs, coa's, etc, etc, etc, all gained legitly? It isn't the ability of the character making it through normal that is tested, but rather the patience of the person building the character. I have made it far into NM with more than one char without a stat or skill spent, and at least one person matted a no-skill, no-stat sorc.
That's my opinion and experience in the matter. But life is, after all, an ongoing education: I'd love to hear you list which pvp builds exactly are 'unable' to make it out of normal under their own power. Maybe I'll learn something.
